A big thank you to everyone from Cazenovia and beyond who joined us for the 2025 Cazenovia Winter festival! By all accounts, this event was a resounding success! Mother nature did her part to keep temperatures low and flurries flying — perfect winter weather!

From there, we must give a shout out to our dedicated team representing a wide array of businesses, social groups, and nonprofits. Together with the help of CazArts and CACDA we were able to secure the necessary, grant funding to make this event bigger and better than last year and the years before that!

We were able to host so many incredible events! From lantern-lit snowshoe hikes to horse-drawn sleigh rides to ice carving demonstrations, ice skating and more - it was incredible to see how many great winter-centric events are thriving in this community!

In addition, there were also many events that were not weather dependent. As we learned from years past, no matter what the weather holds, this community is determined to have a good time! That is why we brought back some great events from years past along with some new!
Our hot cocoa crawl was incredibly popular! Patrons visited the downtown shops to taste test variations on this classic winter drink!

Many of the shop owners sweetened the deal by offering pop-up events, snacks, shopping deals and more! More here we see Farmstead 1868’s own Monica Cody giving a lavender distilling demonstration in front of 20 East.

The restaurants even got involved too! The Brewster Inn hosted a fire and ice chef’s table featuring the culinary stylings of Chef Stephen Franks, and Chef David France.
Madison County Distillery was serving up tacos and hosting a Glow Stick Party featuring ‘Chasing Neon’ that was a fun night for all!

Overall, a fabulous weekend in Cazenovia and a tremendous time had by all! Thank you for all the amazing positive comments on social media (we appreciate the feedback) and we look forward to bringing you great events in through 2025.
