Cazenovia Couterpoint Presents: Invitational Art Exhibit Reception and Gallery Walk. The exhibit will be up for the month of July at St. Peter's Episcopal Hall (11 Mill St.), Common Grounds, Cazenovia Artisans, Cazenovia Jewelry, Isabella's, The CNY Gallery, Circa, and Cazenovia Public Library (all on Albany Street).

Cazenovia Counterpoint Presents: An Artist's Muse. Chamber concert featuring premieres of music by Ed Ruchalski and Marc Mellits commissioned especially for the Rodger Mack film. Reception will follow. Saturday, July 26, 3:30 PM Stone Quarry Art Park Ampitheater, Stone Quarry Rd., Cazenovia. Tickets: $15 regular, $12 students/seniors (available at the door)

Cazenovia Farmers' Market- Every Saturday in Memorial Park on Albany Street in Cazenovia, NY.  Open air market featuring locally grown produce and hand made crafts.

 The New York Times said, "Ms Oberlin's singing, in a voice that is slightly lighter than Ms. Day's (Doris Day), has the same purity, naturalness and polished phrasing, with added colors and a jazz spontaneity. ... Ms. Oberlin's calm, beautifully shaped reading in the classic pop tradition was one that Ms. Day in her prime might well have envied."

Cazenovia Counterpoint Presents: A Woman of Tokyo. The classic 1933 silent film "A Woman of Tokyo" by legendary Japanese filmmaker Yasujiro Ozu, with original music by Seattle-based pianist/composer Wayne Horvitz. Performers include Frank Grosso, tenor sax/bass clarinet; Darryl Pugh, doublebass; John Allis and Jeff Grubbs, percussion; and Tomoko Mikakawa Walter, narrator of intertitles. Friday, August 1, 8:00 PM Cazenovia College Catherine Cummings Theater, Lincklaen Street, Cazenovia. Tickets: $15 regular, $12 students/seniors (available at the door). This film is presented in conjunction with the Syracuse International Film Festival.

Seventh Annual JAZZ ‘N CAZ at the Catherine Cummings Theatre on Lincklaen Street, September 11-13.This year's line-up includes Grammy nominated jazz vocalist Jane Monheit, blues guitarist Jimmy Johnson, and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet in addition to local, regional and national jazz artists.

Begins Thursday evening (9/11) with a kick-off party on the lawn at the Brae Loch Inn. Friday evening (9/12): jazz and blues musicians performing at the Catherine Cummings Theatre. Saturday late-afternoon(9/13): Cazenovia High School Chamber Choir and Jazz Ensemble in addition to other area groups. Saturday evening: regional and national performers.
